NRL Referees v’s Coaches: “I can see it from both sides. I think the problem lies in the rules. If a ref is unsure of anything they should go to the bunker instead of awarding a try and then going to the bunker because the bunker is on the refs side essentially.”

Rugby Protests: “I know people in WA are pissed but don’t take it out on the Wallabies. The best thing the protestors could have done was put a Wallabies jersey on, shut-up and cheer.”

NRL v’s AFL Crowds: “It’s not the NRL’s fault and no one is doing more than the NRL with grass roots development. They’ll always get bigger crowds because so much more happens off the ball in AFL.”
